The Termite Inspection When Buying a Property!

Have you contracted to buy a property recently? it’s important you ask your real estate agent to include this important annexure!

Hello, thanks for taking the time to read this important information when contracting a property. In Perth, Western Australia termites are common they can come to your property from a long distance and park themselves underground, out of sight until they start to potentially cause damage.

You need to ensure you include a termite inspection as an annexure on the contract of sale when writing an offer up on the property you are thinking of buying.

Ensure you comprehensively read the annexure and fully understand what you are paying the contractor to undertake in terms of the contract. This is important especially if you the property has had previous existing termite damage, which in most cases is hidden and can be a very expensive exercise to remedy.
