Tucked away in a former home at 19 King William Street Bayswater, is My Fabricology. The team at My Fabricology love fabrics, and love making an array of wonderful quilts and garments from their hard to find fabrics.
Like many small businesses owners, Susan York’s business started when she went looking for fabric to make her own items. Living in the country, she found it hard to source the fabrics she was after locally. After some research Susan found unique and quirky fabrics from overseas. Soon many of her friends and colleagues started asking her to get fabric for them too. My Fabricology was born.
My Fabricology in Bayswater WA appeals to the quirky quilter and garment maker. Susan stocks a huge range of fabrics from skull prints to bright florals, as well as retro and aboriginal prints. Susan was excited to tell us that she will starting “social sewing” and “learn to sew” workshops in 2020.
