Susan York’s Bayswater fabric business couldn’t exist without the community that supports it.
The modern fabrics Susan enjoyed quilting and sewing with were quite difficult to find in Perth so she was buying them from overseas. People were always asking her how she sourced the fabrics she was using. Sensing a gap in the market, Susan began selling imported fabrics from her living room. Now Susan’s My Fabricology business has grown into a store at 19 King William Street, Bayswater.
Lay2 Real Estate loves to shine a light on local entrepreneurs so Steve Lay sat down with Susan to find out more about her business.
